Problems and Wish-list

This thing is not perfect. There will be a lot of times when it doesn't work the way you want to. But see it als a tool which makes life easier when it does work ;) Nevertheless.. there are a lot of wishes.

• Possibility to copy and past all the lines of the tab in one time instead of line per line
• Possibility to choose between 'a#', 'Bb' and 'A' which are all the same for some pianotab-readers
• Handeling of capitals conform the rulesIs possible now
• Last sign in the line MUST BE a dash (-) Stupid ofcourse in the world where everything is possible
• When entering something with only one dashes between the numbers like "-1-2-3-4-5", the result is "-F-F#G-G#5"
• something like "4/5" in the tab is not supported. Make it "4-/5" and it will work. Entering "12h13" gives a wrong result (What is "h" anyway?)
• In the remarks line (last line) I have to replace a space with an underline (_) to make everything justified all right. I want to change it
• Make it easy to be a popup which always stays on top, while it is possible to do something in another screen, so you can have the window with the guitartab AND the entry-screen always visible
• Support of other tunings, like Eb instead of E
• Transposing function
• Automatically correction of the first letter when transposing
• When transposing: letting people see how it is transposed
• A button which people can put on their page, tab or site and takes the visitor to the translated version
• Somebody who wants to translate my bad, bad, bad English to normal English
• Fancy layout
• A lot of visitors :)

History

• 11-03-03: Now you can choose for a capital instead of a sharp. Advantage: the result looks better
• 10-03-03: It is possible to use an E, Eb and D tuning!
• 26-02-03: I made it! Due a fundamental change in the code, it is possible to transpose! Only the first letter will not be corrected.
• 13-05-02: Wanted for a long time: All-at-once converter is possible. You can either paste a complete tab or paste an URL and everything will be all-right!
• 09-05-02: Frame where it is possible to see the Convertor and the original tab at the same time
• 08-05-02: Octaves are displayed in color; you can choose between sharps(#) and flat (b), make it possible to use this tool as a pop up, fixed a bug which caused errors with the numbers higher than 10. Some colours. Menu. etc. etc.
